  • One sparkly addition to the shoerack.

I recently bought this pair of Badgley Mischka heels, and they are stunningly beautiful.  I was amazed by the quality and the sleek design.  Albeit on the high-side with the heel being easily 4.5 inches, it’s not overbearingly uncomfortable.  A slower and more careful stride for a grand, jeweled entrance?  Sure!

Size 6 was a perfect fit.

    Concealer & Neutralizer Wheel:

I love Temptu’s concealer and neutralizer. I can mix and match depending on the state of my skin, and the range of colors allow me the freedom to tan (or stay indoors) as much as I please. Often times, I use the yellow to neutralize my dark circles and the peach to correct any dark spots prior to applying the actual concealer. This combination works wonders! It’s highly pigmented, and a little goes a long way.

    Airbrush system & foundation:

I’ve experimented with a many brands in the market over the years, and the one foundation that continued to impress me was the Temptu Air Pod Foundation.  I started using Temptu at-home system since it first launched in 2009; naturally, this was quite an expensive habit to maintain as the airpods were costly, at $55 a pop for a 3-month supply at the time.  Nonetheless, I kept this routine for two years because I couldn’t find another solution that provided such wonderful, long-wearing coverage that didn’t leave my skin cakey after 15 hours.  After much contemplation, I decided to switch over to the Temptu Pro Air and invested in a Temptu .35 mm airbrush gun as the cosmetics for the Pro line were significantly less expensive.

As if I wasn’t in love already – I fell deeper in love with the Pro line as color possibilities were limitless.  I could mix and create my own shade of blush, shadow, highlighter, bronzer and foundation.  I could even use the colors on my lips!  Talk about a multi-functional product.   And the quality was phenomenal – smooth, highly pigmented, and extremely long-wearing.  While I must admit that I wasn’t very impressed with the gun, as the mist for the consumer version was still much finer, this alternative balanced out the cost while achieving relatively the same results.

I recently upgraded the gun to an IWATA High Performance HP-B Plus, and boy, does a .2 MM needle make a difference.  I couldn’t be more pleased with the application and more impressed with the quality of the build.
